This piece depicts the legendary and iconic athlete who is known for his phenomenal play, but more importantly breaking the color barrier in major league baseball. He is accompanied by his wife, Rachel robinson.

This piece speaks to the importance of having a strong foundation and strong people in your corner to support you through difficult times. When creating this, I could only imagine the way Mrs. Robinson had to be the rock and foundation for him to survive the challenges he faced while doing something that had never been done before.
